What Can I Buy in Cheverly

So on Monday, I had a list of what had sold in Cheverly. On Tuesday, we broke it down a little further. Today I have a list of what’s for sale and, truth be told, there isn’t a lot to choose from.

The data used to create this chart comes from our Multiple Listing Service, called MRIS. It’s deemed reliable but not guaranteed – mostly because it relies on us humans to input the data and we are fallible. There may be other property that has sold outside of MRIS and that’s not reflected here. Also, these sales are from various brokers and agents, and are not meant to give the impression that they are my sales.

As you can see, what’s currently on the market has been there considerably longer than those that sold. In other words, houses that are priced well sell fast. I heard a great line the other day – wish I could remember who said it – but it was something along the lines of “Which house do you think buyers are more likely to pay full price for – the house that just came on the market or the one that’s been sitting on the market for 3 months?”

Tomorrow, we’ll take a look at what’s under contract. And there’s the real story of the market!
