As you can see, what’s currently on the market has been there considerably longer than those that sold. In other words, houses that are priced well sell fast. I heard a great line the other day – wish I could remember who said it – but it was something along the lines of “Which house do you think buyers are more likely to pay full price for – the house that just came on the market or the one that’s been sitting on the market for 3 months?”
Tomorrow, we’ll take a look at what’s under contract. And there’s the real story of the market!
Numbers aren’t much use in a vacuum – I’m working on some charts to show where we are compared to previous months and years. For more numbers, go to Market Update.
