The Emergency Mortgage Assistance (EMA) program is designed to assist homeowners who are facing foreclosure due to involuntary unemployment or loss of significant income. Is the homeowner 3 – 12 months late on his or her mortgage? Is their home in imminent danger of foreclosure? Then they should attend the intake sessions or check out : http://www.mdhope.org/EMA.aspx
