Sunday was such a beautiful day. Almost-but-not-quite Spring. So Joseph and I headed out to see what all the rain and snow melt has done to the Potomac River up around Great Falls. We decided to visit the Maryland side, though we figured that several of the trails would be closed due to high water.
The rushing and roaring water was really something else! The canal was just mud and debris and the barge was shrink-wrapped – strange sight to say the least.
