Here’s a shot of my husband, Joseph, looking at the big chunks of ice and snow left at the edge of the driveway by the snowplows that went through during the storm. The chunks were too high and too hard to just drive over. He started chopping at them, just trying to break them down enough to be able to start shoveling.
Then our Cheverly snowplow came through again – saw our plight and, in one fell swoop, cleared most of the snow and ice from the apron of the driveway!
To quote my husband, who then cleared the remainder in short order, “I love our town!”
